Can you spot Severine and I in the picture above? This was taken during one of our annual leadership retreats. HINT: Severine is facing away from the camera. :)
God is calling up pastors and leaders locally and from all over the world to help see Quebec saturated with the Gospel.
And more than ever we're seeing spiritual attacks specifically targeting these pastors and leaders, in opposition to what Jesus is doing in Quebec. As a result, the failure rate can be high.
Burnout, health issues, marital problems, inter-leader conflict, financial struggles, moral failure: Each of these are very real dangers facing our leaders.
Our primary ministry has become centered around providing PASTORAL CARE
and LOGISTICAL SUPPORT
to these pastors and leaders, many of which are entering into mission via the various ministries of our church.
This is expressed primarily through Brian as the Executive Pastor
of Church 21 Montreal, but also through Severine as we partner in the area of pastoral care. We regularly have leaders into our home allowing Severine to exercise her gifts of shepherding & hospitality. We're thankful as we feel like together we make a great team, that our individual spiritual gifting combines to form a more complete whole.
In providing pastoral care we seek to help prevent the above issues common to church leadership from taking root in the lives, marriages, and families of our leaders.
In providing logistical support, we seek to equip pastors and leaders
to be maximally effective in their ministries, which ranges from helping them get moved into Quebec, raising funds, hiring them to our team, training in organizational and productivity skills, all the way to assisting them on projects they need help with.
Today, more than ever, we contribute to the saturation of Quebec with the Gospel through the direct support of leaders, pastors, church planters, and church planting.
